Most of the design terms have latin and french bases, so sound snooty when you say it and it will sound correct. It sort of goes like this "Tromp LOY"... but you sort of roll your tongue when you say "LOY". I just googled a pronunciation so you can listen to it!! http://www.howjsay.com/index.php?word=trompe-l'oeil

SO glad you stopped in and left your comment- I always feel like I'm playing grown up when I pronounce these words- at least I feel more confident saying them now :) Stop back in soon!!!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04619985241040437269noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4082656687594997647.post-71703923765993671042013-06-15T23:15:29.794-05:002013-06-15T23:15:29.794-05:00yay!! so glad that you liked it and that it may ha...yay!! so glad that you liked it and that it may have been helpful!! How do you say it right again? I don't get that pronunciation key. I don't know about you, but I sometimes feel like a goober saying things like -"I'll put this in a Vahz in the neesh of the foy-yah!" but it does make me feel more designer-y. LOL!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4082656687594997647.post-59323495790156803112013-06-14T10:14:30.841-05:002013-06-14T10:14:30.841-05:00Totally did not know how to pronounce some of thes...Totally did not know how to pronounce some of these!
