House Guests: Creative Play Space

LOOK AT THIS AMAZING ADDITION...OR RATHER...REUSE OF SPACE.
I think being creative with the space that you have is a huge way to be eco-conscious and more sustainable.
{It's "Commona-Go Green" week here at Commona-my House"..see some of my other green tips in these earlier posts: Commona-be Green house plants that will purify your air,  home scents with natural ingredientscooking with cast irongreen cleaning tips, recipes and prinatable labels, , raised beds}.
People are finding clever ways to adapt their existing space to their family's needs rather than build bigger and add huge additions on. This is an example of taking unused space and putting it to very valuable use.

While I love vaulted space and grand foyers, this wasn't really an inspired entry to begin with.
Check out this transformation.

Unused vaulted entry turned playroom office. Would love to do this to my two story den.

  1. very cool. It's added square footage and probably added to the value of the house.
